Edgar Mines Tours*

Additional Cost- TICKET REQUIRED (Tickets are required for ALL students and family members)

Join us for this special tour hosted by students and staff at our very own mine in Idaho Springs! This tour covers one-half mile of underground workings representing over 100 years of mine development. Tours for groups of 25 people will take place every half hour and each tour typically lasts one hour. The mine is usually relatively dry and a constant 54 degrees Fahrenheit year-round. Hard hats are provided, but guests are asked to wear warm clothing and sturdy walking shoes.

Please note that there will be a lottery for Edgar Mine Tour tickets, the Mine is NOT wheelchair accessible, transportation is not provided, and a ticket is required for each attendee (including students)! There is also a 5 ticket limit per family.
